The Waverly Luxury Collection of area rugs was created by the Beaulieu America Company. Established in 1978, the Waverly line of carpeting quickly became a standard and desirable component of the most popular brands of quality carpeting. In 2001, the company started producing high-quality area rugs, an exclusive collection which was both hand-made and hand-tufted. This line made Oriental rugs more affordable and put them within reach of most homeowners. The Beaulieu area rug line was developed to coordinate with all other Waverly carpets and fabrics.

None of the beauty of the original rugs was lost with a Beaulieu area rug. These hand-made wool rugs were made in three different qualities and were sold with prices from 0 to 00 for either a 6x9 or a 9x12. Beaulieu of America discontinued crafting area rugs in 2002, but Beaulieu Canada continued the tradition as the largest carpet-making company in Canada. Although the rug-making division was temporarily closed in Canada, these lovely rugs are still being manufactured by the company's branch in Belgium.

Have you ever seen a Beaulieu Snazzy area rug? If you have, and even if you haven't, you're going to be hard pressed to believe what they are made of. These lovely rugs are crafted from recycled soda bottles. Beaulieu is doing its part in the green movement by keeping thousands of bottles from being sent to landfills. The beautiful rugs that resulted from this unique recycling process have earth-tone backgrounds with flecks of rich color throughout. They also have a wonderful texture and would look nice in any type of home.

One thing you'll find when you search for Beaulieu area rugs online is that they are difficult to locate. You will see a number of them being sold by private sellers, but there are no companies which advertise them for sale. The first four ensembles are all color variations on a vibrant toile design. The "Victorian Toile" is manufactured from quality fabric selected by the manufacturer. The fabric is a tasteful floral toile with vivid coloring on top of a pure white background. The detail of the story in the fabric has depth while being very simple in its elegance. A solid color bedskirt with hatch pattern accent pillows draw focus to the scenery in the comforter and pillow shams. This set of ensembles is inspired by Waverly's Garden Toile ensemble. The Victorian Toile ensemble is offered in black, red, blue, or green on white. Mixing and matching accessories from each offering is also possible to create an even more striking display. The quality construction and design of this product is also inspired from former best selling Waverly products.

The next aj MOSS exclusives are the Imperial Damask ensembles. Available in antique or red these ensembles are made from a Victorian Floral fabric manufactured by Waverly. The antique version is a soft palette of crimson, and salmon enhanced with a green boxpleat bedskirt. Crimson and malachite throw pillows in floral and paid patterns complete the set. Imperial Damask red is of course made from the same style fabric simply in a different color pattern. This version utilizes a "jewel" tone palette, colors of ruby, gold and emerald combine for a bold print with a stately look. Both of the Imperial Damask ensembles also come with window treatments. Swapping the window treatments between the two ensembles allows for a striking custom look.

Magnolia Dream is another ensemble in the aj MOSS line. Magnolia Dream is a bold set constructed with oversized floral print fabric by Waverly. The ensemble features country colors of black, rust and fern accented by shades of white. The bedskirt is contemporary boxpleat construction with black ribbon trim. The entire set is made from natural linen for a modern feel and look.

Aj MOSS exclusives live up to and even exceed the Waverly ensembles which they emulate. Not only were Waverly ensembles loved because of the materials they were also loved because of the quality construction techniques which made them a lasting investment.
